Here are Caleb & Caroline with another of our homeschooling family friends...the "S" family! They now have been blessed with 7 adopted children from China! M & D just came home and this is our first visit with them...
(D isn't in the pic, but he's an adorable 2year old little boy)
M is right in the middle and she is now Caroline's special friend! M is deaf, but this hasn't stopped the girls from connecting:
They are both determined to communicate and they did!
M has 3 older sisters and they have all learned American Sign Language and so they are teaching it to Caroline too:

Welcome home, M! (and D!) We love you both already!
Caleb and Caroline had several Stage Choir performances at local nursing homes all throughout the school year, this was one of the last and it was a patriotic theme
Caroline wrote a Poem called "The Red, White, and Blue" and she was asked to read it at the beginning of this song
