Caleb on his 1st homeschool hike with his teacher, Dad! They went on this "Lichen Loop" trail early this morning. There are tons of hiking trails around here - we decided to start with a fairly easy one in terms of elevation gain - it was beautiful! Pine forests, open meadows, some nice rocks, and about a 1.3 mile loop. Caleb did great. We just took our time and enjoyed looking at things - and breakfast on the trail was a nice treat, too.
