COVA

Since you're reading this, I can assume that you are interested in Caleb's schooling! Thanks! We're excited about what this year holds for Caleb.
This year, beginning officially on August 27th, Caleb will be a student in COVA- Colorado Virtual Academy. It is something new and different for us. Technically it is a public charter school, but as the name describes, it is "virtual" meaning that we are able to homeschool Caleb through this program and it is paid for by the State. What a blessing! All our curriculum and materials are provided, which for his level includes: Language Arts, Phonics, Math, P.E. lessons, and one elective of our choice, which we've chosen Science. They are even providing us with a computer and printer for Caleb to use and they reimburse us for internet access! The curriculum is put out by K12 and so far we are very impressed.
We learned about COVA through a friend who has had her children in this program for a couple of years now and she recommended it when we still hadn't decided on what curriculum to use this Fall for Caleb. If you are interested, you can check out the COVA website at : http://www.covcs.org/
