Here Caleb is examining his tongue and learning about his TASTE BUDS!
Today he learned that our taste buds tell us if something is salty, sweet, sour, or bitter
Caleb is very trusting as he is waiting with his eyes closed for me to put a sample of a food into his open mouth
(I just had to take a pics first!)
Now Caleb is TASTING and by using his sense of TASTE he will guess what food I placed in his mouth!
He will tell me if it is sweet, salty, sour, or bitter
He guessed all 6 samples of foods correctly! We concluded that his taste buds work really well! :)
Later on in this lesson, Caleb cut and pasted foods that he likes and dislikes the tastes of in the 5 SENSES booklet he is making
