Caleb loves to practice his letters on this lined chalkboard...here he wrote "DAD and DVD" and then practiced lots of "Ds"
Caroline is still enjoying sitting with us as we do school, specifically for Caleb, yet she loves to try and do what he does. Here she is also working with a chalkboard. Her latest accomplishment is writing letter "C"
For one of our recent Science lessons we studied our teeth and how they help us eat and begin to digest our food. Today the kids were to observe in a mirror, how they use their front teeth to bite and tear and then use their back teeth to grind and chew.
In Language Arts we've been reading the story of Thumbelina and the kids colored characters from the story to help them act it out. Today they worked on their Butterfly and Swallow- they even got the special treat of making them really fancy with glitter!
